The Messiah has said he will be speaking to Mr Shearer.

Has stated he only wants the best people at Newcastle and he would love Shearer to join him there.

The Passion has started already.

The ultimate dream team mate

I pity Bolton tomorrow as they won't stand a chance, saying that, not many team managers in the Premiership have felt the full force of KK's TOON army

Hi Pete,

Do you reckon Owen will start to play a bit now?.

If we don't sell him first, he'll have to or get dropped to the reserves

Personally I'd get shot of him & buy someone like Berbatov, young keen & a diehard TOON fan when he was growing up, use to go to bed wearing his TOON shirt, with Shearer on the back

Owen has been named captain today - typical Keegan move to put the media back in their box! :D Reckon he's much more likely to stay now anyway, as he's likely to get a heck of a lot more goalscoring opportunities in a Keegan team than Allardyce's stifling tactics were ever going to generate!

To coin a phrase, I would LOVE IT if Shearer comes on board too - 3 Geordie heroes working together, and the succession plan taken care of too!

Befor you remind me that we lost at Spurs after dominating 50 minutes of the match I will remind you that just 2 weeks ago we beat Bolton 3 -1

Gary,

I bet you waiting all evening to write that & I don't blame you mate, we didn't play that well & had no real chances but then again, we had 8 first teams players missing, so we had to play reserve players like Shola & Owen, remember him, Shola, didn't you guys wanna buy him

As for you beating them 3-1, if you can remember back to the beginnig of the season, so did we, so before you think you're any better, lets see how you do in the return leg yeah

Just remember one thing mate, we've not lost to the Spurts in the past 3 season and according to SSN, only Man Usa have beaten you more time than the Spurts... so when you start to beat them, then start rubbing in who beat who remarks..

Don't you just love all the friendly banter on a Staurday afternoon once we find who did what & when

Seems KK and Shearer are not best buddies and haven't bothered with each other for some time.
I don't think Shearer will join up with KK.
He will however replace hime once the bubble bursts.
KK worked with Ray Wilkins at Fulham and they don't speak now.
Seems there's only room for one messiah.
Lads, don't get me wrong here, I'm not saying KK won't be a success, just writing what I've heard.
Gary

You could well be right -apparently Bid Al wasn't happy with KK not coming to his testimonial! :(

Shame if he can't join the party, but certainly not the end of the world.

I can't see that being the reason, as it sounds a little petty if it is :? I always though Big AL was above that sort of pettiness :(

It wouldn't totally surprise me to be honest - I think wor Al is known for having a very big ego - not necessarily a criticism, something a lot of top class players have I reckon.

So what do you make of the latest developements with regards to Shearer?
All a bit cryptic to me.
What do you think Keegan is talking about ?
What do you think the outcome will be ?

The way I see it is, Keegan doesn't want Shearer as his No2, because he is a very strong influence on what happens at SJP & that would undermind Keegan, so he's been offered to coach the under 18's or something but knowing Shearer won't want that because he's not invovled with the 1st team and that doesn't put him in the spotlight to take over from Keegan if anything should happen :?

Now if that didn't confuse you, it did me

Nah, Keegan's not the type to be threatended by anyone - he's the one manager we could have got who doesn't need to worry about the shadow of Shearer.

Stories today indicate he will be involved in some kind of coaching capacity, but doesn't want a full-time position due to his MOTD commitments.
