Question now is, what happens to her Gold medals? OK they've been taken from her, but shouldn't they be passed on to those who previously had the silver?

They should be mate but its been sometime now, so god knows what will happen

Personally I think she should have gotten more than just 6 months, she'll do less than half that time with good behaviour, maybe 2 months if she's lucky

6 months was the maximum they could give apparently, but even so it was still quite a surprise.

You're right that the biggest shame is the people who'll never get to stand on the top step of the podium because of this cheat, although getting the medal retrospectively would still be better than nothing!

regarding her medalos going to the silver winners..
It seem that one of the silver winners, was banned a year later for not turning up to a doping test
