Hi Guys

Just to confirm that Dancing Classes are ON tonight from 8.00 pm as usual. I would be grateful if a few of the strong armed me could arrive at 07.45 pm to give a hand with moving the tables and chairs so that we can commence classes promptly at 8.00 pm.

Many thanks and see ya all later :celeb2

Luv & hugs
Janis

Thanks guys. I am really pleased that you are having fun as well as learning to dance! Hope you enjoyed the little "Fred & Ginger interlude" although somewhat of an intrusion! :doh

Jean you little rabbit - not exactly a "beginner" are you!

Don't forget to practise all the steps you have learned to date, including the Jive we commenced this class.

See you all next Wednesday and Keep Dancing :celeb2

Luv & hugs

Janis

Janis - I have never had dance lessons, but this is the dancing we used to do in my youth. I used to love going to dinner dances, and it was amazing last night how quickly it all came flooding back, except the jive - that was my brothers era (he's 3 years older than me :D ). I really enjoyed it, and am looking forward to more lessons. It will be really good when the weather warms up a bit and we can get outside into the courtyard - all that space, what will we do?

Jean - What will we do - it will be wonderful for everyone to be able to move around the whole dance floor dancing all the steps in every dance that you will all have learnt by then! It will be fantastic to have all that space! If everyone is enjoying the lessons now - just wait till we can get outside!!!!!!!!!! :bounce

What I love so much about PP is that even though everyone is learning in a very small space - everyone "is" learning and everyone is so friendly and such a lovely bunch. It gives me so much pleasure to see you guys having fun and enjoying the evening. It was also great to welcome 4 new pupils too! :celebrate

The max number of pupils my Allan and I taught in our classes was 56. We did have a huge dance floor then. With Ian's help (he was one of our pupils in Abu Dhabi) we will hopefully, have enough Dance Class members to hold a proper dinner dance come Sept/Oct. We did this in Abu Dhabi too. Now - in preparation and forward thinking - I need to find a band here that can play "strict tempo" dance music - any ideas - anyone? :clapping

Luv & hugs & Keep Dancing :celeb2

Janis
