Try this it is quick,simple and delicious, we had it last night.Pour a quantity of virgin olive oil into a earthenware dish or a pan. Pour enough oil in to cover the prawns.
Add to the oil 4 or 5 cloves of garlic,sliced.
Add to the oil a couple of chillies, chopped.
Bring the oil to the boil, yes so it's bubbling, add your prawns. After c couple of minutes when the prawns are pink, you are done. You can add ready cooked prawns too but not for long as they will go rubbery.
Serve at the table with warm bread.
The smell is fantastic and it is really tasty. Best of all is dipping that bread into the oil mmmmmmmmmmm !
The Spanish call this dish Gambos, Enjoy.
