Ok I do try to get my 5 a day.....
Pint of Carlsburg
Glass of red
Glass of white
A G & T
A Brandy.....

No seriously.....

What the hell else can I do with cabbage?

OK.
Boiled is just plain boring.
Shredded and stir fried with bacon or lardons and a dash of soy is tasty.
Stir fried with bean sprouts and water Chestnunts with oyster sauce is lovely.

Then I run out of ideas.

The web doesn't seem to be much help either!

Any suggestions?

Is this white or red cabbage?

If red, then I braise it with onion, apple and balsamic vinegar.

This is the recipe I use, and it's delicious hot or cold - but definitely make it 24 hours in advance.

Yea I've done the red cabbage with apple and onion several times. Goes well with a paprika pork and stove potato dish that I do sometimes.
No I'm talking the Primo white cabbage you get here.
I'm actually growing some Savoy in the garden this year just for a change. Can't seem to get that here generally.

I make salad with it. Finely slice cabbage, add chopped coriander, chopped red onion, radishes. Make a dressing of lime juice, olive oil, salt, pepper & garlic. Mix and pour. We really enjoy it.

"cabbage for sale 1€ each" that should get rid of them
