Welcome to the 1st issue of
PAPHOS PEOPLE's
newsletter!
At last, we have officially launched PAPHOS PEOPLE
information website and a big thank you to all members and
advertisers for their support pre the official launch.
Ok, so we’ve launched!….when’s the party we hear you say!? You
will be glad to hear that we are going to be holding an official
launch party - see details to the right of this very page!
Over the coming weeks and months, we are planning to issue a
monthly newsletter bringing you up to date with information on
what has been happening and going to happen at Paphos People and
in the Paphos area but also letting you know of the social
events planned over the coming months and of our advertiser’s
special offers (available to registered forum members only).
Although the team at PAPHOS PEOPLE has been working hard
to come up with ideas for social events, we would also welcome
any suggestions from members.
Ideas so far have included seasonal events such as Xmas, Easter
but also holding a summer BBQ, a monthly Taverna outing, ladies
coffee mornings, darts, ten-pin bowling, weekly quiz night,
5-a-side and even some weekend trips away. So…if you have any
ideas, drop us an email to events@paphospeople.com.
For those members who have businesses here in Cyprus, we are
also offering a FREE business listing on our home page
until 30th June 2008. No strings, no commitment. If you would
like to take up this offer or find out more information, contact

On a lighter note, this month’s newsletter is covering the
Personal Profile of one of the founding member of Paphos People
with the rest of the founding members and team to follow over
the coming issues.
On a final note, we hope that our new site will offer something
fresh, fun and lively and attract many members from all walks of
life….so tell your family and friends to join in the fun!

First of all let me welcome you the
first edition of the Paphos People newsletter.
My name is Neil. I am proud to be the original founder of
paphospeople.com
After living and working in Cyprus for almost ten years, I
became very aware of how things work here and saw the need for a
decent expat community web site, where the ever increasing expat
businesses could promote themselves to other expats in the
region without it costing an arm and a leg.
It was also my goal to develop a friendly and informative chat
forum, where like minded expats, or soon to be expats could
come and chat and swap information, thus helping each other out.
This has become an instant success with our members, who
increase in numbers on a daily basis.
We also intend to run competitions every month with great
prizes, donated to us by our advertisers. We will do our best,
to secure our members the best discounts from the services
offered.
Oh! and watch out for the Taverna club!... coming soon ..
